Antonio graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 1991 with an academic award in paediatric dentistry.
Antonio stayed on as an honorary lecturer and clinical tutor for 5 years, as well as establishing and running two private practices in Johannesburg. After 13 years in private practice, he relocated to the UK with his family.
He has completed the FGDP (UK) Diploma in implant dentistry, a postgraduate certificate in orthodontics and is currently undertaking the FGDP (UK) Diploma in restorative dentistry. His special interests include implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, paedodontics and cosmetic dentistry, as well as advanced reconstructive and occlusal rehabilitations. Antonio is a member of the BDA, ADI, SAAD, BACD, AACD, BSGDS, CGDP and FGDP and aims to provide high-quality dentistry individual to every patient’s needs.
Antonio took over at IQ Dental in 2018 and is now the Principal owner of IQ Dental & Implant Centre.

I have been going to this dental practice for quite a few years now, with a gap post-COVID where I tried a different, slightly more local one. Suffice to say, I returned pretty quickly to IQ Dental, where you walk in and feel like you’re in a comforting, holistic clinic rather than a dentist’s waiting room! The service is consistently outstanding, from the welcome you receive from the lovely receptionists to the superb skills of the dentists and hygienists, particularly Antonio, who is amazing. I have recently had a dental implant, all carried out by Antonio and would not hesitate to recommend him. A thorough and highly skilled dentist who makes sure everything is done to the highest standards, with outstanding care and attention. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
